Africa Business Day

The 2022 edition of the Africa Business Day took  place on 30 June in Baden at the Trafo Event Center with hybrid participation via an online event platform. ABD22 counted more than 300 participants who participated in-person and virtually (dialing in from 27 countries).
This year’s theme was Next generation business in African markets. Urbanization, population growth, technology development or climate change are just a few megatrends influencing the way businesses define their global business strategies. Almost 60% of Africa’s population is under the age of 25. By 2050 two in every five children will be born in Africa, and Africa’s urban population is expected to nearly triple by 2050 to 1.34 billion. Africa Business Day 2022 will look at some of the major megatrends on the continent from the perspective of the African youth.
