The 2022 edition of the Africa Business Day will take place on 30 June in Baden at the Trafo Event Center. This upcoming edition will be hybrid, allowing for in-person exchanges as well as for company representatives based across different regions to participate and network virtually. This year’s theme is ‘Next generation business in African markets‘. Urbanization, population growth, technology development or climate change are just a few megatrends influencing the way businesses define their global business strategies. Almost 60% of Africa’s population is under the age of 25. By 2050 two in every five children will be born in Africa, and Africa’s urban population is expected to nearly triple by 2050 to 1.34 billion. Africa Business Day 2022 will look at some of the major megatrends on the continent from the perspective of the African youth.
